Since launching Dieselpunks in 2009 as a safe haven and inspiration for diesel and steampunk artists, we’ve become one of the largest and most active punk communities in the world. And now, over five years later, we’re going to be forced to close this community unless you can help. The cost of covering our hosting and music licensing fees for 2014-2015 has exceeded what my paycheck can support. The solution is to raise the funds via Kickstarter. |

You are invited to escape the everyday world and journey with us to the "Absolute Elsewhere" - A place where characters spring forth from art, music and mythology. A place where artists connect and their visions merge creating a land where dreams and myths breathe and fill space. I was inspired to make my own journey after seeing Rusty's photographs that capture the essence of this enigmatic world. Each image inspired me to create a song and in turn invite a collective of musicians to help acquaint you with the inhabitants and scenery of the mysteriously beautiful "Absolute Elsewhere". Their voices and stories emerge as the process unfolds. They exist only in this place. I hope you will join us in an elsewhere that continues to unfold! |

| The Club has operated as a for-profit business since its inception and has grown to be so much larger than when we started, but after careful consideration we have decided to become a 501(c)(3) Arts Non-Profit whose mission will be to foster, support, and create art of the present using inspiration from the past. While we want to continue to produce large events locally, we also want to expand and share our vision with the world at large. To do so, we need to first raise the funds to help cover our legal and filings costs to make this transition into Non-Profit status. At a bare minimum to continue, it is sadly not cheap. After we meet our first fund-raising goal, we have a series of overage goals in place to help us kick off our first show, rework our website, invest in long-term props and equipment, and begin to lay the foundation for a large arts festival in 2014. | Campaign Completed via Kickstarter |

I have been playing and performing for going on eight years and I can say with all my heart that at this very moment I'm lucky enough to be in a group with some amazing musicians. Everyone in the Abandoned Buildings brings something drastically different and nuanced to the musical table. This album is important to me because it will symbolize the coming together of a group of people who may never have crossed paths if it were not for their love of music. It's doubly important, because we owe it to those like yourselves who listen, appreciate and add that fuel to our fire. This past year has been amazing. We have traveled 70,000 miles from New England to the Gulf Coast and back bringing our music to those who want to hear it. We've sold 4,000 copies of our first full-length album Dead Woman Walkin, which we made thanks to our first Kickstarter campaign. We are very lucky people to get to do what we do, even without the help of management, a booking agent, or a record label. Since we released our last album Dead Woman Walkin we hit the road hard and refined our music. We are very excited to record our second full length album The Devil Herself This album will feature what we feel is our best material, including "These Bones" which was featured on PBS' Music Voyager. We plan to record the album in late November, go through the mixing and mastering process, and put together a special limited edition Megan Jean & the KFB art book with artwork, photos, lyrics, and road stories, for a full on release in early Spring 2013. We are looking to our fans and friends to help us realize what we believe is our best material to date.
