The Wimshurst's Machine is an eclectic, award-winning 8-members italian electro-acoustic "steam" orchestra based in Torino. The Wimshurst's Machine is a project born by the music passion of each component and a mad idea, developed between friends and colleagues with little time to play together "in person". Together with the "good old" way to make music, TWM mixes (also thanks to modern softwares and computers such as Propellerhead Reason, Apple Garage Band, Symphonic Orchestra, Sound Studio Pro, Apple Soundtrack, Ableton Live, or the iPhone/iPad technology) real instruments and synthetic sounds even during live events.
